The purpose of the workshop is to increase the awareness of participants regarding the importance of conducting systematic, performance-based evaluations of physical protection systems at nuclear facilities to protect against unauthorized removal of nuclear material and sabotage, and to provide them with information and examples regarding the process and knowledge required to perform such evaluations.
