Training course has a structure based on the series of IAEA safety standards. The content will be taught through theoretical and practical topics, presenting aspects of nuclear and radiological emergency preparedness and response, focused in the first response. This structure allows highlighting some significant elements of the nuclear and radiological emergency first response, through lectures, working session and exercises. Upon completion of the training, participants are expected to be able to understand the basic topics of first response in nuclear and radiological emergencies, and to apply this knowledge in their job.
