The purpose of the event is to train the participants on the medical management and response in case of radiation emergency. The course is mainly based on EPR-Medical 2005.
Regional Training Course on Medical Physics Support in the Event of Nuclear or Radiological Emergencies
The purpose of the regional training course is to provide the participants with a good understanding of their potential roles in nuclear or radiological emergency (NRE) situations, and to prepare them to contribute effectively to a NRE response as identified in emergency preparedness plans. The participants are also expected to contribute to the training of other healthcare professionals in the response to NRE situations.
This course also exposes the participants to a multi-disciplinary team-approach in dealing with NRE situations.
