Simulation for Cervical Cancer Radiotherapy

General Objectives : This series of microlearning videos present basic principles and practical aspects for conventional and CT simulation for cervical cancer radiotherapy. At the completion of this microlearning videos, the learner will be able to know the principles, practice, and techniques in the simulation for cervical cancer radiotherapy. The contents of these videos are intended to guide learners about the simulation in cervical cancer radiotherapy in addition to existing international, local and institutional protocols.

Target audience: radiation oncologists, medical physicist, dosimetrists and radiation therapists

Content:

Part 1 Basic simulation principles for cervical cancer radiotherapy

Part 2 Conventional Simulation for Whole Pelvis RT (WPRT) for cervical cancer

Part 3 Conventional Simulation for Extended Field RT (EFRT) for cervical cancer

Part 4 CT simulation for cervical cancer radiotherapy

Interactive Modules for Cervical Cancer Treatment

General Objectives : This series of interactive modules will focus on the key steps involved in  setting up and positioning patients for external beam radiotherapy and delivering brachytherapy for cervical cancer treatment. At the completion of these microlearning modules, the learner will be able to understand these key steps and practice performing patient set up and positioning during external beam radiotherapy and  brachytherapy for cervical cancer. The contents of these videos are intended to guide learners about the simulation in cervical cancer radiotherapy in addition to existing international, local and institutional protocols.

Target audience: radiation oncologists, medical physicist, dosimetrists and radiation therapists

Content:

Module A: Setting up and Positioning for External Beam Radiotherapy (Cervical Cancer)

Module B: 2D Intracavitary Brachytherapy

Module C: 3D Intracavitary Brachytherapy
