9-13 April, 2018 Regional Training Course on Licensing and Inspection for Radioactive Material in Manila, Philippines

The purpose of the course is to introduce the project for “Strengthening Regulatory Capacities for Licensing, Inspection, and Enforcement for the Security of Radioactive Material and Associated Facilities in South East Asia” and to train participants on the key issues involved in the implementation of a security inspection program and conducting security inspections for radioactive material as well as for associated facilities. The course aims primarily, but not exclusively, at enhancing awareness of the importance of a strong security inspection programs for radioactive material and associated facilities as well as developing participants’ capacity to conduct security inspections at facilities that hold licenses for the use of radioactive material within their respective countries .
