This course provides fundamentals of tritium analysis in water samples for hydrological applications, and trains participants in the use of Tritium Information Management System (TRIMS), a laboratory management software designed for the standardized analysis of tritium.

Training on the TRIMS software with interactive discussion sessions covering approaches in data generation, inputs, inference of output, virtually. These discussions should provide theoretical grounding in the interpretation of the results from the software on Tritium activity concentration measurements, for hydrological applications.

This is a six week course, with 4 x 2.5 hour blocks scheduled per week on Mondays and Wednesdays. Two sessions are given each, one in the morning and one in the afternoon to allow for all participants to attend at least some of the classes directly. The classes are a combination of lectures and practical classes and will be supported by supplementary reading materials, online exercises and weekly assessments for participants to gauge their progress. There are a number of topics and these will be given by all members of the PO staff in the Isotope Hydrology Section.
